Researcher Alice Ritchie, who originally joined Carlyle as a Graduate Research Assistant, shares her experience and career progression since she joined the Carlyle team in October 2020.
“After graduating in 2020 I secured a place on Carlyle’s graduate scheme as a Research Assistant. The graduate programme allowed me to gain exposure to all business areas including Research, Operations, Marketing and Events Management. The breadth of experience gave me a holistic view of the business and the team supported my transition and progression into the Research function.
From day one at Carlyle, I have been supported by the team at all levels of the business and there has been a keen focus on accelerating my personal development. The tight-knit culture at Carlyle creates a driven, collaborative and fun working environment where everyone’s impact is visible and valued.
Working closely with the Partners and Principals, I am given hands-on ownership of work and engage day-to-day with high-profile sector leaders.
Following my promotion from Research Assistant to Researcher I am looking forward to gaining more responsibility and continuing to develop my sector knowledge and client-facing experience.”
